Payouts

Payout threshold

The minimum approved commission balance required before an affiliate can be paid.

Definition

A payout threshold delays payment until the affiliate's approved balance reaches a stated amount. It reduces administrative overhead and payment fees for very small balances.

B2B SaaS context

Recurring SaaS programs may accumulate small monthly commissions across many invoices. Thresholds keep payouts efficient, but they should not hide why a partner has not been paid yet.

Operator note

Show approved, pending and blocked balances separately, and make threshold rules explicit before partners request a payout.

Turn the definition into operating rules

RefCampaign helps recurring SaaS teams translate attribution, refunds and payout policies into a partner program that can be audited.
