Cookie window

The period during which a click can receive credit if the visitor later converts.

Definition

A cookie window defines how long a referral click remains eligible for attribution after the visitor lands on the merchant site. Common windows range from 30 to 90 days, but browser privacy controls can shorten practical persistence.
